Concrete Repair and Reinforcement Method
Overview of Raphah System

The word ‘Raphah’ from the Raphah system means ‘to cure’ in Hebrew and it is a system for repairing and reinforcing deteriorated concrete through basic curing principles.
This system is an inorganic repair and reinforcement method which has improved workability and economic efficiency through curing underlying causes with chemical and physical solutions, in order to repair and reinforce concrete structures deteriorated due to neutralization, salt damage, chemical corrosion, copper sea, alkali aggregate reaction, etc.
The Raphah system is a concrete repair and reinforcement method containing chemical solutions which features alkali recovery from inside concrete and inhibition of activities of chlorine ions in concrete, rather than simply depending on physical repair of organic systems for improvement of durability.
In other words, the Raphah system is an inorganic repair and reinforcement method for doing re-alkaliation of neutralized concrete through applying an alkali restorer to neutralized concrete and, at the same time, preventing future neutralization and salt damage through strengthening vulnerable layers of the surface and applying inorganic polymer mortar.
